Day on Campus - March 17, 2012

Mark your calendars for March 17, when we open our gates for our annual Day on Campus. It's been an annual highlight for the last 27 years.

The day begins at 8:30 am with a Welcome Tent with warm coffee and breakfast treats, then tours of the campus throughout the day, a special program at 10:30 am with music and dancing provided by the children, lunch in the Big Tent, and an Alumni gathering place for reminiscing.

Last year we had over 1800 people on campus. Supporting our staff were over 200 volunteers. We parked about 600 vehicles, including 50 buses and large vans. Yet, even with those numbers, everything flowed smoothly and quickly.

One of the most amazing numbers came to light when we asked for a show of hands of those who were visiting campus for the first time. Over two-thirds of those present raised their hands. This speaks so well of the work of our Local Church Representatives, pastors, Trustees and friends are doing in getting the word out to the community. Many brought new friends with them in their private vehicle or arranged for the church van or bus to bring first-time visitors.

This year our specially invited Districts are East Central and South West. We hope to see you on March 17th!
